Build Muscles without Heavy Weights

Few men realize that for building muscles heavy weights, exercising machines, dumbbells and barbells are not necessary. On the other hand looking for weights reduces your chances of developing muscles because of unavailability of weights and a gym. Hence there are many ways that muscles can be built more effectively without the use of Weights.

The most important exercise that can built muscles effectively is the pull up. This is the best exercise for the upper body and the best upper body builder. It depends on the scientific principle of leverage that makes your back and legs to handle the weights of your entire body.

Another scientific principle to remember while exercising is that as the distance between the point of force and the object you are trying to lift increases, the effort increases and the same exercise that is of no use will be effective this way. Hence raise your hand proportional to your body while doing a squat, lunch or push up. And the further you move, the more effective the exercise becomes.

A very important thing to remember is the elastic electricity in muscles which reduces the effort during exercise by pulling the muscles to their relative position with the stored energy. This energy can be dissipated by pausing for 4 seconds between each step in a lunch, squat or a push up or any other exercise. And while doing simple exercises, you can automatically increase the effort by doing two exercises at once like a push up and a torso twist.
